Come to the launch of Fightin’ Words: 25 Years of Provocative Poetry and Prose from “The Blue-Collar PEN,” published jointly by PEN Oakland Publications and Heyday Books. I am President of PEN Oakland and a founder of the group, the brain-child of Ishmael Reed. I have two pieces in the anthology, “The Politics of Poetry” and “Appendix C: PEN 55th World Congress – Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.”
